Teaching

I just bought most of the school supplies that I will be taking to Ukraine. We are also suppose to take little prizes for the kids which they can purchase with tokens that they earn according to their progress with the English language. This is all getting me so excited to work with the kids!! I however have two very packed suitcases and this is what my load looks like on top of it... and this isn't even all of it!! When I was shopping I kept thinking I had too much.. and then not enough.. and I waffled with that thought until I had enough in the cart and I put enough back on the shelves.. and back into the cart again with not as much. 

I am thinking all the time about how I will do things, how I will respond to my students, wondering how big the barrier will be, and how much of that barrier will I be able to break down? I haven't even met the kids I will be teaching yet, and already I want them to succeed so badly. I know they are waiting to begin the semester like I am.. well the older students maybe.
