Okay.. I don't HATE it, but I don't particularly enjoy it. The flight from SLC to Chicago was terrible. it was a small plane and it was late.. and the turbulence was worse than I have EVER experienced. I can usually stay calm when everyone is freaking out, but really.. every person on this plane was freaking out. The flight attentant was right beside me... freaking out. I want to say we had a wreckless piolet... but I don't think that was the case. Not only this but we were suppose to have a one hour lay over in Chicago and leave for Munich Germany at 9:20pm. Well we landed at 9:00, got off the plane at 9:10 and ran. RAN. We got to the gate at 9:23 and found nothing. A lady came out and said there was no more flights that night. GREEEEAAAAAT. So after much walking around, finding people, calling people we got a very nice hotel and went to bed.. we were all very tired. PS. When I say "we".. I'm talking about me and two other ILP teachers headed to Kiev. Our flight today to Frankfurt doesn't leave till four, which is just over an hour away right now. So at 9am we headed downtown chicago to the SkyDeck, after an hour we finally got there and learned that it was at zero visibility.. so we trashed that idea and just explored down town Chicago.
I had coffee for the first time in my life today. I went to Starbucks and ordered a double chocolaty chip frappe, and specifically asked for the creme base and NOT the coffee base. The worker heard "not creme base, but extra coffee." When I got it I took a huge swig and nearly choked. Coffee is disgusting. I was coughing and the denseness of it was.. just gross. I quickly had her fix this... but I have heard people say coffee is gross, but if you make it right or have it in something good then it tastes good. You'd think that in a double chocolaty chip frappe it might taste good. False. I guess if its a normal thing for people then its not gross, but I don't know how people get over it. Ick. I am no longer curious, I still love the smell though! Haha
